I'm Toni,

the founder of UNIFORMED and a proud member of the medical community. Working in healthcare has shown me the true weight and wonder of this industry. It's a place where people give their all, often putting their own needs second while caring for others. The work is demanding, emotional, and deeply meaningful, and every day, medical professionals show up with strength, compassion, and resilience.

But during my own journey, I faced a personal challenge that changed everything. After experiencing weight gain, I suddenly felt uncomfortable in my uniform, a simple, everyday piece of clothing that had always been part of my routine. What I didn't expect was how much that discomfort would affect me. I felt self-conscious, distracted, and not quite myself. And in a field where confidence, security, and mobility matter, that feeling stayed with me.

That experience opened my eyes. I realised that uniforms aren't just uniforms, they're a second skin. They can empower you or hold you back. They can make you feel strong, capable, and ready… or they can quietly chip away at your confidence.

UNIFORMED was born from that moment of vulnerability and the desire to turn it into something empowering. I wanted to create uniforms that honour the people who wear them, uniforms that fit real bodies, real shifts, and real moments of both challenge and triumph. Uniforms that remind every healthcare worker that they deserve comfort and confidence at work.

I also want to dedicate this brand, and everything it stands for, to the loving memory of my Grandad, who sadly passed away just before the launch of UNIFORMED. I was lucky enough for him to see, feel, and hold a scrub set. He was my biggest supporter, always encouraging me to follow my dreams, and his pride and belief in me are gifts I will carry forever. Every scrub set we create carries a piece of that love and dedication, a reminder of the people who inspire us to show up for others with courage and compassion.

Today, UNIFORMED stands for more than clothing, it stands for empowerment, representation, and the belief that when you feel good in your uniform, you show up as the best version of yourself. And in this industry, where lives are touched and changed every day, that matters more than ever.
